Winemaker's Notes

Continuing the tradition we started in 2015, we selected Pinot Noir clones #667 and #115. Following a near-perfect growing season, we picked the 667 clone on September 17th, the 115 clone on September 24th.

For a winemaker, this is the type of wine I dream of producing, one that will leave a lasting impression on everyone who drinks it. It exhibits flavors of bright cherry, raspberry and savory black fruits. It is incredibly complex and well balanced with a stunning front palate, soft tannins and wonderful long finish. We always felt this was a truly special wine and were humbled and grateful when it was awarded a Best of Class medal and score of 98/100 at the 2022 Sunset International Wine Competition.
